Welcome to the Virtual Nantwich Marina (at last I’ve got around to doing it!). I hope that you will find it easy to use, interesting, useful & good way to find out who we are, what we do and how we do it (and in some cases – how much it costs!)
Sheila and I took over the derelict Basin End site in 1994, using the name that the marina had been known as when British Waterways ran their hire fleet from Nantwich, but which had been closed down some 2 years previously. So, 15 years ago, ‘Nantwich Canal Centre Limited’ was born. In 2010, we have rebranded it as "Nantwich Marina".
Over the years, we have tried to build a really good, independent canal service centre, with everything that the boater or inland waterways enthusiast would need and appreciate. At the same time, we have also tried to establish a business that is not seasonal, so our staff are kept as busy in the depths of winter as they are in the hectic summer season.
Enjoy the site, and if you call in to see us at Nantwich, say hello. I’m the short, greying one that walks fast….thanks for visiting.
